Transport4 is operational as of August 23rd, 1999. The new information system will ensure that Colonial continues to lead the industry in service and data communication. Our customers will benefit from an easier, user friendly interface along with additional services and capabilities our older system cannot offer.

Transport4 creates a common interface and data structure for our customers (shippers, suppliers, tankage parties, etc.) and offers the carriers the flexibility needed to maintain their unique business rules. The carriers will continue to use their own core nomination, scheduling, inventory and accounting systems that will supply information to and receive information from Transport4. Our customers will access the data via the Internet.
