Colonial Pipeline Participates In Family Fun Safety Day” At Cobb County Safety Village


MARIETTA, Ga. — Members of the Colonial Pipeline Southeast District team participated in the Cobb County Family Fun Safety Day” on June 13. The event offered families a fun-filled time of safety awareness. 

The event allowed the community to tour Colonial Pipeline’s educational tank” which includes videos, interactive models and games educating children and adults on how gasoline and jet fuel get from a refinery to your car or local airport. It also teaches the community to Call 811 to ensure safe digging. 

The Colonial Pipeline educational tank” is an innovative tool the company has to interact with the community. The Cobb Safety Village is a great outing for families that is both fun and educational.Built on a 8 acre site, is the most comprehensive safety training environment in the region where our residents and business community gain knowledge through hands on experiences. 

Other activities at the event included a tour of Sparky’s House, water safety games, free finger printing kits and up-close views of emergency vehicles provided by Cobb County first responders.
