Shippers (the companies who own the product) buy and sell fuel and utilize Colonial as a means to transport their product from an origination point to its final destination. The shippers vary and can include oil companies, traders, wholesalers, retailers, government, independent refiners, airlines, and other entities that have a need to transport fuel to the market.
The product moved on Colonial’s pipeline, on behalf of its shippers, includes gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and home heating oil.
