Colonial Pipeline To Invest $330,000 In Local Communities After Successful United Way Campaign

ALPHARETTA, Ga.
 — Colonial Pipeline employees pledged $140,000 to the United Way and other local charities as part of its annual charitable campaign. With the company match and the proceeds from golf tournaments held within the company, Colonial Pipeline will be investing $330,000 into local communities.

Each year in October, Colonial Pipeline holds a campaign giving its employees an opportunity to donate funds to local community charities. Employees choose to support a wide-range of non-profits that are making positive impacts in the community, in many different ways, taking on many different causes. The fundraiser and donations are facilitated by the United Way of Greater Atlanta. Many employees also choose to allocate their funds to the United Way chapter in their local community to support its mission to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community.

In addition to donating funds, several Colonial facilities around the system participated in clothing, food and blood drives and other volunteer opportunities in conjunction with local community charities.

This year’s campaign theme was Light’s, Camera, Take Action!” Among other things, these dollars will educate children, feed the hungry, house the homeless, and help hurricane victims recover.
