At Colonial Pipeline, we are proud to not only provide safe and reliable transportation of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and heating oil to 50 million Americans daily, but also of being the lowest-cost, safest, and lowest carbon-intensive transportation option to connect energy production and consumers in the Southeast and East Coast.

We continuously look for ways to enhance our safe and efficient operations as our shippers respond to evolving market conditions, including opportunities for us to move more fuels to the markets that need it. In fact, as part of reorganization efforts in 2024, we streamlined and refocused resources to further enhance and ensure system reliability and optimization opportunities.

Over the past several years, demand for our pipeline services has exceeded what we can transport. So we are focusing on multiple initiatives that will safely increase capacity on our system. These include:

  • Planned changes in product handling and specifications that will not only increase system capacity, allowing more fuel to be transported at the lowest-cost option available, but also reduce operational stress on our system.
  • Over the next three years, more than:
    • $20 million in planned investments in the origin infrastructure of our system in the Gulf Coast, where American-made fuels enter our system.
    • $50 million in planned investments in the technology and systems that will assist in maintaining safe and efficient operations for decades to come.

We are committed to serving the energy needs of America for generations to come while remaining the safest and most cost-effective option to connect energy production and consumers of the products we deliver.
