For more than 60 years, Colonial Pipeline has built strong partnerships with our customers, whom we refer to as shippers, suppliers/consignees, and terminals (or tankage parties). About 250 shippers and 270 terminals trust the Colonial Pipeline system to transport refined petroleum products to locations in 14 states. We’re proud to provide resources to help familiarize our customers with pipeline procedures that promote the safe and efficient movement of their products through our system.
Colonial University
Registration
Colonial University is our popular two-day course for customers’ employees in scheduling roles who are actively nominating batches within Transport4 and moving product on the Colonial system.
The sessions are led by members of our teams who are involved in scheduling, ticketing, inventory, revenue, accounting, quality assurance, and commercial affairs. Each presentation is designed to help customers better gain the knowledge necessary to adhere to the nomination-to-delivery process, as outlined in Colonial’s Shipper Manual.
The curriculum covers many aspects of pipeline transportation on the Colonial system as well as the Rules and Regulations by which it is governed.
NEW FOR 2026: Colonial will offer and limited number of personalized, one-day courses for customers. These sessions are intended for groups of three-to-five students from the same company, and offer a tailored syllabus based on feedback provided. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
