Colonial’s ESG Overview

For more than 60 years, Colonial has been committed to safely and responsibly transporting energy to serve communities, air travelers, and military installations across the Southeast and East Coast. Our customers provide energy that keeps our country’s economy thriving, and we serve as a vital link in the energy chain transporting liquid fuels safely, efficiently, sustainably, and affordably.

Colonial employs a collaborative, data-driven management approach to drive improvements in performance across all ESG topics. The future of our ESG journey will continue to rely on greater stakeholder engagement, enhanced transparency, and effective governance of a holistic program and integrated corporate strategy. Colonial is well positioned to use our strong foundations in governance to take this next step of corporate responsibility into the future.

Our ESG program is overseen by the Board, governed by our Leadership Team, and supported by an ESG Working Group composed of senior leaders across our organization, including the senior manager of each material ESG topic. Each member of the ESG Working Group has a direct stake in the program and brings their respective expertise into crafting topic specific strategies that advance the overall goals of the ESG program.
