Terminals and Tankage Parties

Colonial is connected to more than 270 terminals along its pipeline. The terminals are also referred to as Tankage Parties or simply Tankers. Companies interested in being a valid Tankage Party on the Colonial system must complete the Tanker Request form.

Tanker Requests

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Tanker with Colonial Pipeline Company. To be set up, please complete and submit a Tanker Application form to the Credit Department at: [email protected]

Tanker Code Change Requests

Terminals needing to make changes to their current tankage code(s) should complete the Tanker Code Change Request form and submit, copying the selling terminal if change is a result of an acquisition, to: [email protected].

If the new tankage party is not already a tanker on Colonial, it must complete and submit a Tanker Application form to: [email protected]. Once this process is complete, the tankage party can move forward with the request to change tanker codes. Colonial Shipper Relations will advise the party(s) if additional information or documentation is needed.

Upon completion of the code changes, Colonial Shipper Relations will advise the tankage party when the new code is activated. It will be the responsibility of the tankage party to notify its customers of the new code and begin making any necessary changes to existing nominations.

The old code will be removed from Transport 4 and appropriate Colonial systems and unavailable for nominations approximately 15 business days from the time the new code becomes active.

The change process takes approximately 30 business days once the request is received and confirmed.
