Colonial Pipeline’s Greensboro Team Restores Bur Mil Park With Piedmont Land Conservancy

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Colonial’s Greensboro team restored Bur Mil Park with the Piedmont Land Conservancy on October 6, 2017 as part of Colonial Pipeline’s ​“Colonial Cares” initiative. The team created a new trail, repaired an amphitheater, built stairs and replaced some benches. 

​“We had a wonderful day with your Colonial Pipeline team in Greensboro last Friday at Bur Mil. The weather was perfect and Guilford County is grateful for the volunteer support,” said Piedmont Land Conservancy conservation planner, Palmer McIntyre.

Colonial Pipeline partners with conservation groups active on its ROW in every state it operates in. This engagement allows Colonial to better fulfill its mission to protect the environment we share our pipeline with. In 2017, Colonial will participate in 12 events with local conservation groups, most occurring in October.
