Almond Named Treasurer

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Trey Almond has been named Treasurer of Colonial Pipeline effective immediately. He will be responsible for managing the company’s cash, debt, capital structure and risk management functions. 

Almond joined Colonial in 2006 and was responsibile for leading capital markets transactions and risk management initiatives. He was named Assistant Treasurer in 2007. 

Trey has made significant contributions at Colonial, and I’m pleased to name him to this position of increased responsibility and importance,” said Tom Bundros, Colonial’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. 

It’s especially important in these challenging economic conditions to have steady, capable and careful management of this critical part of Colonial’s business,” Bundros said. 

Prior to joining Colonial, Almond spent 10 years at Bellsouth, holding positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and treasury. 

A Georgia native, he earned a BBA in accounting and an MS in finance from Georgia State University. A licensed CPA in Georgia, Almond resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and two daughters. 

Colonial, founded in 1962, delivers refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, home heating oil and fuels for the U.S. military, from refineries primarily in the Gulf Coast to customers and markets throughout the Southern and Eastern United States.
