Colonial Pipeline Donates $5,000 To American Red Cross For Disaster Relief

iss., — Colonial Pipeline donated $5,000 to the American Red Cross to assist its tornado relief efforts in Covington County, Mississippi. On April 26, 2014, an EF2 tornado, 600 yards wide with winds of 125 mph, ripped through 16 miles of Covington County. The tornado and heavy rains it brought killed one person and injured eight in Mississippi. 

More than 20 employees are stationed at Colonial Pipeline’s facility in Collins, Miss. Colonial supports the local emergency response agencies as part of the company’s commitment to safe operations that protect the public and the environment.
