Colonial Pipeline Employees Assemble 1,000 USO Care Packages

ALPHARETTA, GA. - Colonial Pipeline employees at the Atlanta headquarters assembled 1,000 care packages and wrote over 500 letters to active military, offering thanks and encouragement on Wednesday, October 8.

The care packages and letters were picked up by the USO and will be delivered to active military serving overseas.

Several other care package assemblies are scheduled throughout the company’s facilities, stretching from Houston to New York, in hopes of assembling over 10,000 care packages company-wide.

This October, Colonial Pipeline has teamed up with the United Way to support the USO and other organizations supported by the United Way. Employees are donating funds, assembling care packages and volunteering at community events such as Hands on Atlanta” this month as part of the initiative.

The campaign is designed to give Colonial employees an opportunity to support the local United Way & USO Chapters that serve their communities and engage in the communities we share our pipeline with through volunteerism.

This October, Colonial hopes to raise $120,000 for the United Way and USO. The company will 100% match all employee donations.
