Colonial Pipeline Launches Enhanced Contractor Portal

Dynamic, mobile-friendly website provides streamlined access to important safety information

ALPHARETTA, GA (January 9, 2020) – One way Colonial Pipeline is demonstrating its commitment to excellence in contractor safety is through the re-launch of a Contractor Portal on its external website. The portal can be accessed at www.colpipe.com/contractors and provides Colonial contractors with streamlined access to safety information in a state-of-the-art, mobile-friendly platform. 

Colonial Pipeline’s highest priority is ensuring that day-to-day operations are safe for employees, contractors, the general public, and the environment. We are relentlessly focused on workplace safety,” said Chief Executive Officer Joe Blount. Through harnessing the power of technology, we are able to provide our contractors with enhanced access to important information that can keep them safe on the job, reduce risk and improve communication.” 

The website is designed to further promote the importance of safety to Colonial contractors by providing access to guidelines, upcoming contractor events, downloadable safety shares, contractor safety performance metrics, Colonial contacts, and more. A feedback loop from contractors to Colonial facilitates an environment of continuous improvement. 

Colonial is also launching a new contractor safety recognition program to identify and reward contractors who are leading the way as allies in Colonial’s commitment to excellence in safety.
